  • Show Season Begins

    Spring can mean different things to different people. To me, it’s not only the time for new growth, but for the beginning of the show season. I look forward to it each year, and now that it’s begun, I couldn’t be more thrilled. The first show of the season is always the Weld County Goat Extravaganza, which is held at Island Grove Park in Greeley, Colo., the end of April.   • Spring is Upon Us

    Spring is one of my favorite times of year. Babies of many species are being born, and as the sun warms the earth, plants begin to emerge to soak up the sun. This last month has been full of working with babies. The goats have been growing at a rapid pace, and will soon be heading to their new homes. To prepare them, they need to be worked with and handled, so that they are friendly for their new owners, 4-H and FFA showmen from around the state.   • MKHD Two Black Cadillacs to join show string

    We are please to announce the purchase of MKHD TWO BLACK CADILLACS from Madessa Hoffer-Dye, Madessa’s Menagerie. She will join our 2013 Show String. She is the daughter of KNR Road Base, and looks to be a stout little doe that that will compete well in the show ring. We are very excited to have her join our herd!
